WHO IS PINHEAD?

Pinhead is a character conceived by members of the Pinnacle Studio 10 User forums. After much discussion and comradery, it was decided what fun it would be to put together a group production, something we all could take credit for. Pinhead would be the star of our movie, visiting all of our hometowns and cities. While each of our movies would be unique, Pinhead is the common factor. This way we shared a little bit about where we come from, yet had some fun in the process. That was how Pinhead came to be. The world project eventually evolved into a contest with many participants. From there other projects were conceived and executed (see Pinhead Projects).

Pinhead's full name is Walter Phineas Pinhead.

His horses name is Dobbin.

The name of his dog is Boo.

Gretchen is his sister.

About the "rights" and ownership...
Alley (of "Fashion Alley" iClone clothing supplier) is one of the original members, and her husband Walter was the artist who created the original 2D Pinhead.  It was a few years after Pinhead's creation that a "contest" was held (2007) to give him a first name, and after a vote (open to everyone), the winning name was Walter Phineas Pinhead.

The first name "Walter" was in honor of his creator Walter.

The middle name "Phineas" came from Spielberg Wanna Be.

About who can make videos...
Anyone, and anytime!

I don't know if there will be another official project sponsored by the remaining (but silent) committee members, but there have been some unofficial projects, most often Christmas or Halloween projects.  You can always make a Pinhead project any time on your own.

"We" (his fans) do request that people be respectful of the Pinhead character.  He is much more than an avatar or an actor. Consider putting the James Bond character in a romantic comedy; that just wouldn't be right. Pinhead has had some growth as an actor, but it is appreciated by his adoring fans if he doesn't stray too far from his core personality.
